Two weeks to go. La Roux releases Old Flames on 6 November 2026, her fourth album and her first in six years, and every note of it is her own: the record was composed, written, produced and arranged by La Roux herself.
The eleven tracks open with Old Flames (Intro) and close with a reprise of the title piece. In between sit the lead single Cabin Fever, out on 7 May, and Babyline, which followed on 26 June, along with Lose Myself, Falling, To Make Our Love, Your Lover, Final Fantasy, Night Vision and I Just Keep Crying.
According to the announcement, the album deals with the end of a 17-year relationship, forbidden love, addiction, sexuality, identity and the work of leaving old patterns behind. “Cabin Fever was very much the start of my story, and Babyline is where I ended up and where I continue to be. Happier, lighter, braver,” she told uDiscover Music.
The video above is Lose Myself, released in August and directed by Claire Arnold. Apple Music’s UK listing credits Old Flames as a Vertigo Records release, while uDiscover Music names Casablanca Records, and the album comes on CD as well as digitally.
