Christine and the Queens is back. Rendez-vous avec toi arrived on 4 November 2026 on Because Music, together with its English twin, “Rendez-vous in your arms”, as the first preview of a new album due next spring.
It is a bright, disco-lit pop song about the night two lovers find each other again. In his own notes on the single, Chris name-checks New York jazz and the “Moroder Groove” among the things he poured into it, and you can hear that pulse right from the first bars.
The French-language video was shot in Paris and co-directed by Chris and Raphaël De Albuquerque, with choreography by Alexander Ekman. The English version has its own video as well.
The new single follows the 2023 album Paranoïa, Angels, True Love, the 2024 record Hopecore released under the name Rahim Redcar, and the 2025 EP Catching Feelings made with Italo disco legend Cerrone.
Before the album, Chris and his band of Vincent Taeger, Vincent Taurelle, Adrian Edeline and Karl Onibuje play four intimate shows in December: Brussels (Botanique, 1 December), London (Scala, 7 December), Amsterdam (Tolhuistuin, 8 December) and Paris (Alhambra, 10 December). The shows are already sold out, and the set promises a first listen to unreleased songs from the next album.
