SynthpopWorld is a small, independent music magazine for people who love synthpop and synthwave, and the sounds around them: darkwave, Italo and nu-disco, electropop and related styles.
What we do
- New releases: fresh synth music worth hearing, from new names and familiar ones.
- Reviews: honest takes on singles, EPs and albums.
- Stories behind the songs: the people, ideas and moments that shaped the music.
SynthpopWorld started in September 2018, out of a simple love of synth music. After a long pause we are publishing again, and we hope the site stays a home for this music and a way for artists to be heard.
Editorial independence
We choose what to write about ourselves, based on the music. Sending us a track does not guarantee coverage, and our reviews reflect our own opinions.
