French electronic pop artist Sébastien Tellier lets the wolf out again: Loup (Remixes), a new three-track single, came out last week on Because Music and Horizons.
Loup is the penultimate track on Kiss the Beast, his seventh album, released on 30 January 2026. Because Music describes the record as a mix of electronic pop, lush arrangements and late-night ballads, made between Paris and London, with Victor Le Masne, SebastiAn, Oscar Holter and Daniel Stricker among the collaborators.
For the remixes, Tellier handed the song to Kap Bambino, the electropunk duo Orion Bouvier and Caroline Martial started in Bordeaux in 2001, and to DeepFaith, whose version carries the subtitle “wolf under my skin”. The original album version completes the single.
It is not the first remix to come out of the album. Thrill of the Night, his song with Slayyyter and Nile Rodgers, was reworked by David Guetta, and Amnesia, the Kid Cudi duet, got a remix from Notre Dame and Harry Kaze.
The cover suits the title: Tellier under a dark hat, hair and beard everywhere, with yellow wolf eyes glowing over his black sunglasses.
