Berlin trio Dina Summer released the mini album Children Of The Night on 9 October 2026 through Iptamenos Discos. The nine-track record is out digitally and on vinyl, including a blood red and black marbled edition.
Dina Summer is the joint project of the Greek-German dark-disco couple Local Suicide and Bavarian electronic producer Kalipo, who started working together in 2019. Their sound pulls from 1980s Italo disco, new wave, EBM and early-2000s electroclash.
The new set touches every side of the band so far. Burning Heart and Bats In Paris bring back the disco-flavoured synthpop of the debut album Rimini, Fuel, Komodo 3000 and the title track lean into darker club territory, and Rat Race and On The Road carry a darkwave-tinged indie feel.
The title pays homage to Bela Lugosi’s famous line in Dracula (1931): “Listen to them. Children of the night… what music they make.”
The video above is the official clip for Burning Heart, a synthpop song where sparkling organ synths run over a dark, driving bassline. On the track On The Road, Joshua Murphy of Crime and the City Solution adds a guitar line in the spirit of New Order.
The band take the record out on the Children Of The Night Tour, with headline shows announced in cities including Berlin, London, Paris and Athens.
