Warm analog synths, a guitar that never rushes and a voice built for the hours after midnight. Luna Soul, the duo of German singer Lisa Michèle Lietz and Spanish guitarist Jordi Arnau Rubio, released their second album Second Nature on 30 October 2026 through Hamburg label Légère Recordings.
Lietz comes from Schwerin and Rubio from Barcelona. They formed the band in 2019, and their debut album First Move followed on Légère on 11 April 2025, carried by the singles “1979” and “City Lights”.
Since then they have kept moving, playing more than 50 concerts a year across Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands and Denmark. Second Nature was written between those tours, and the band describe ten songs about change, longing and the search for real connection, unfolding like scenes from a midnight movie.
Two singles opened the door. “Only Human” leans into warmth and acceptance, while “Down The Line”, the video above, drifts through night-time cityscapes with one foot on the dancefloor.
The full record runs ten tracks and just over 38 minutes, from “Seasons” to “Silver Morning”, with “Night Magic”, “Blinded By Love” and “Let The Groove Play On” along the way. It is out on vinyl, CD and digital.
German magazine Soul Train hears city pop and yacht rock in the grooves, calls the album more compact and more self-assured than the debut, and notes that the lyrics were written together with boogie songwriter Joel Sarakula. They gave it their Hot Tip.
