Swedish dark synth act Priest sets fifth album Altered State Police for 23 October 2026 on Blue Nine, with twelve tracks of synthpop, industrial electronics and flashes of 1990s big beat.
The record moves through surveillance, technology, identity and control, and the band frames it as a dystopian listening piece meant to be heard start to finish. Producers Leo Josefsson and Linton Rubino handle the sessions; Priest’s masked lineup includes former members of Ghost.
Lead single Python arrived 21 August 2026 with an official video on the Priest Official channel; second single Minions followed on 18 September. The Apple Music tracklist runs Jaded (feat. Internal), Python, Jeopardize, Altered State Police (feat. Airghoul), Karmageddon, Sentimental, When We’re Gone, Dehumanized, Minions, The Savior’s Blade, Here Comes The Light and Stargate (feat. Unify Separate).
Vinyl pre-orders list a 180-gram black LP through Blue Nine retail partners, with digital and physical sharing the 23 October date. The video above is the official Python clip.
