Italian independent duo SYZYGY released the instrumental single The Mechanical Boy of Trafalgar Square on 29 August 2026. The track sits between dark electronic, electronic rock and cinematic music.
The artists describe the song as a portrait of early-morning Trafalgar Square: a city awake while people move through it without really seeing one another, and a boy who disappears into that mechanical rhythm. They frame the piece as the cold intersection of electronic music, rock and cinematic tension — isolation, motion and quiet defiance in a world that never stops moving.
SYZYGY is Pietro Rosso’s project (listed with DistroKid / YouTube as Syzygy · Pietro Rosso). The single is also on Spotify and Apple Music.
