Open the box and fall through. Delerium have released Dream Palace, a collaboration with Los Angeles dream-pop act Magic Wands, out on 30 October 2026 via Metropolis Records. It is the second single from “Exaudire,” the Canadian duo’s 16th studio album, due on 22 January 2027.
Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber built the track, and their Metropolis labelmates Magic Wands added guitar and vocals, with Dexy Valentine writing the lyrics. Valentine told Side-Line that the music Delerium sent “put us in a trance,” and that the words were inspired by the dreamy feel of the song and by the end scene of “Contact,” the ’90s film based on Carl Sagan’s novel.
The video, directed by Shahrnaz Nancy Southwick and Magic Wands, follows a girl who opens a wooden box and finds herself in a parallel universe.
“Dream Palace” follows “Into the Light,” the album’s first single with Diamanda Galás, released in September. “Exaudire” runs to twelve tracks with guest vocals from Mimi Page, Inna Walters, Phildel and Jaël alongside Galás and Magic Wands, and arrives on CD and limited oxblood double vinyl.
