Neon Mirage, the synthwave project of Marc Simon, released the twelve-track album Uncharted Coordinates on 1 November 2026.
On Bandcamp, Simon frames the record as a space voyage: tired of everything feeling “too earthly, too loud,” he charts a course into silence that is “space for sound.” Each track is billed as a coordinate on an invisible map — a sonic chronicle of manoeuvres, malfunctions and discoveries.
The running order opens with “Echo of Distant Worlds” and “Gravity Curve”, then moves through “Trans-Space Express”, “Mars Invaders”, “Galactic Dream” and “The Experiment”. Later stops include “Magnetic Storm”, “Hyperdrive Pulse” and “Starless Route”, before the album closes on “Break Through”.
Simon wrote the music and created the cover himself: an astronaut in a dark suit leaping through a purple and teal nebula, with the Neon Mirage name above and the album title below.
Neon Mirage works out of Brest, in northwest France. Uncharted Coordinates sits with a busy recent Bandcamp run that includes the March 2025 albums Endless Asphalt and Access Denied, alongside titles such as Diffused Frequencies, Summer 89 and NeoRider.
