Italian electro-wave project TourdeForce released Winning on 13 October 2026 via My Owl Music, a single and official video that reworks The Sound’s 1981 song from the album From the Lions Mouth.
It is the first official studio collaboration between TourdeForce and vocalist Neviah Luneville, who takes the lead here and, according to Side-Line, is set to sing a large share of the next TourdeForce album, expected in 2027.
The label describes the production as partly conceived as if it had been made during, and inspired by, Depeche Mode’s Ultra era. Christian Ryder produced and mixed the track at Kinniku Studio in Milan, Fox T. plays guitars, Andrea Bergo recorded the vocals at Musificio Recording in Monza, and Rob Early mastered it at Retrogramme Studio in Alexandria, Virginia.
Ryder also directed the video, filmed partly in an Egyptian-themed hotel room. Luneville made the artwork from Le Naufragé, a 19th-century painting by Ambroise Louis Garneray, and the credits list the original writers Adrian Borland, Graham Bailey, Colvin Mayers and Michael Dudley.
Ryder founded TourdeForce in Bergamo in 2004. The single follows the album Leaving Nothing Left Behind, released on 27 February 2026 on My Owl Music, which the label sums up as electro-wave, old-school EBM and synth-pop. Its track A Good Death got a video filmed in Japan in September.
