Summer is long gone in Europe, but Lucy In Disguise has other plans. Vacation Island, a new single out today, 22 October 2026, on Innerworks Records, is four and a half minutes of palm-tree synthwave for the darker months.
Lucy In Disguise produced and composed the track. Tonebox, his regular collaborator, handled the mixing, the mastering and the artwork – a lone palm on a neon-rimmed island, glowing pink against a deep blue sea.
The two go back a long way. Their first joint release, City Limits, came out on Innerworks in 2014, and they have kept teaming up since, on Road Rage in 2020, Lost After Dark in 2022 and Club Slow in 2023.
On his own, Lucy In Disguise has built a catalogue full of coastlines and late nights: the Sunset Radio album in 2019, the Fantasy Beach EP in 2020 and Distorted Memories in 2022, which the label calls his fourth full-length album. Vacation Island follows Lost At Sea, released in February this year.
