DROIDGLOW is back on NewRetroWave with Brutal Hours, his second album for the label. It came out on 9 October 2026, almost a year after his NRW debut Neon Inferno.
The label calls it “more brutal than the last” and pitches it squarely at darksynth fans, promising gritty dynamics and commanding synths.
This is a record built on collaboration. Nine of the eleven tracks pair DROIDGLOW with a guest: House of Serpents, Rafael Jannotti, DreamReaper, New Arcades, Droid Bishop, ALEX, Dav Dralleon, Sarah Orloff and Connör.
Shaun Phillips of House of Serpents and LeBrock sings on Hellbound. The title track was written and produced with Rafael Jannotti, who also adds backing vocals to Neon Nights, and Mikael Sehlin mixed and mastered all three of those songs.
DROIDGLOW plays the guitar solo on Together We Will Survive, his track with New Arcades. The two openers, Legacy of Terror and Sins of Devotion, are his alone, produced, mixed and mastered by him.
The album runs just under 38 minutes, and the cover art is by Coki Greenway.
