Welcome to Hell, says the sleeve note, and it means it. Destryur, the New Orleans darksynth producer, released Fatal Attractions on 30 October 2026, a nine-track set timed for Halloween and packed with guests from across the scene.
The opener “Hellfire House” is a short 88-second door-opener before the album settles into its run of features: Hunter Norton on “Splatterday Night”, vylt on “Paranormal ActivYty”, Megan McDuffee on “Find You”, MAGNAVOLT on “Surgeon 666” and Midnight Danger on “Fear On Tape”.
The biggest line-up sits on “Star Treatment”, with eagan, The Neon Ghosts and Hunter Norton all on board. Hunter Norton also plays the album’s guitars, and the set closes with a MAGNAVOLT remix of “Splatterday Night”. “Find You” was already out as a single in June 2026 on GL Underground.
Splatterday Night is more than a track title. Destryur hosts and curates a party of that name at The Goat in New Orleans, a night built for fans of Kavinsky, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, GosT and 80s movie soundtracks.
Behind the mask is Chris Taylor, who came up through Sam Valentine’s NightWav parties in New York before moving to New Orleans. His debut album Panic came out in 2019, followed by Night at the Grindhouse with STRNGR on NRW Records in 2020 and the Frightmare EP with Figure in 2024. His music has also turned up on the In Search of Darkness documentary soundtracks.
Fatal Attractions keeps that grindhouse mood, B-movie horror pushed onto the dancefloor, and it lands just in time for the long November nights.
