Cologne producer, songwriter and DJ Roosevelt is back with Bliss, a new single out on 21 October 2026 through Counter Records.
Roosevelt is the project of Marius Lauber, and Bliss opens what he calls a new chapter. It follows a year of looking back: 2026 marked ten years since his self-titled debut album, celebrated with a reissue that added extra versions of the songs.
The track runs on a tug of war between words and music. “‘Bliss’ is quite a nostalgic track for me,” Lauber says. “The lyrics come from a place of missing someone, while the instrumental hook tries to recreate a feeling that’s already long gone. I wanted to play with that emotional counterpoint – there’s a longing in the lyrics, but in the music I’m stubbornly trying to bring that blissful memory back for a moment.”
That longing sits right in the chorus line, “There’s no bliss without you,” carried over the kind of bright synth-pop and nu-disco groove he is known for.
His most recent album is still Embrace from 2023, which he took on a 41-date North American tour and a 12-show European headline run. No new album has been announced yet, but more music is on the way.
