Danish synthwave producer Wice is back with Save And Exit, a new self-released single that came out on 18 October 2026.
The track runs just under four and a half minutes, and Wice handles the synthesizers and production alone. The writing credit goes to Morten Heerulff.
The cover sets the mood before the first note: a dark blue bedroom late at night, an old CRT television asking “Save and exit?”, a console on the floor and the controller left on the armchair. It is a picture of the last minutes of a long gaming session, and the song carries that same after-midnight glow.
On Bandcamp, Wice files the single under synthwave, outrun, chillsynth and darkwave, which is a fair map of the sound: warm retro pads with a moodier edge underneath.
Save And Exit is the latest in a steady run of 2026 singles from the Danish artist, following Awaken in April, Konnichiwa in May and Cosmos in June. Wice’s Bandcamp profile sums up the connection to the scene in one line: “Artist at @newretrowave”.
