NIGHTRUN, the Málaga synthwave project of Francisco Cortés Torres, released the new single The Lighthouse on 5 November 2026 via Aztec Records.
Bandcamp and the label call it a driving cinematic synthwave instrumental: propulsive rhythms, soaring analogue synthesizers and nostalgic textures that turn childhood exploration — wild coastlines, hidden paths, imagined mysteries — into the soundtrack of a lost summer.
It is the second single from the forthcoming debut album Nostalgia, following September’s BFF, which Aztec framed around Saturday horror films, bicycles ridden until the streetlights came on, and the loyalty of childhood friendship.
On Bandcamp, NIGHTRUN describes the project as exploring the deeper edges of dreamwave and synthwave — coastal dusks, dusty bike paths by the sea, and pixelated nights with childhood friends. No official music video for The Lighthouse was found on the Aztec channel (BFF has an official audio there); streaming is live on the usual platforms.
