Colorado synthwave producer jacket. has released Volume III: Human, a new album that arrived on 30 October 2026.
It is billed as the close of a trilogy: “The end of the trilogy. The end of an arc, an era, a marker of all that has come before and all that may yet be.” The theme is right there in the title. In the album notes, jacket. calls it a record “about the experience of being human. Good, bad, ugly. Pain, joy, struggle.”
The core album runs to twelve tracks, from the short “Human (Intro)” through “Poison”, “Calamity”, “Eons” and “Nightfall” to the closing “Signals” with vocals by Dora Pereli.
Guests shape several of the songs. Beachdolls writes and sings “Voicemails”, LIAMLEON fronts “Never Dancing Alone”, Echo Wolf co-produces and mixes “Reverie”, and New Arcades co-writes and sings “Hold You Up”.
The Bandcamp edition adds seven extras, including the B-side “Like That”, a demo of “Villain”, an ambient take on “Poison” and VIP edits of “Voicemails” and “Hold You Up”. jacket. wrote, produced, mixed and mastered the album, and the artwork is by Olga Lewska.
