Anechoid is back on NewRetroWave with To the Future, a new single released on 6 November 2026 through NRW Records. The label introduced it simply: Anechoid joins NRW on a new journey.
It is a single track of just over five minutes, and the artwork places it in NRW’s Melodic Series: a pixel-art sleeve with figures in silhouette watching a glowing planet rise over a holographic platform, framed in worn orange and violet like an old VHS box.
Roozbeh Shahbazi and James Meays wrote, produced, mixed and mastered the track together, with Shahbazi credited as orchestrator. NewRetroWave’s announcement tagged it retrowave, synthwave, spacesynth and darksynth.
The release follows Anechoid’s earlier work for the label this year: the single Mass Relay in January and Element Zero, a four-track EP with Coleurs, in February.
