Scottish-Swedish duo Unify Separate have released their third album, The God Particle, on 6 November 2026.
Andrew Montgomery (vocals) and Leo Josefsson (synths, production, vocals) frame the record as the particle that holds life together — love, loss, fear and joy — after extensive touring in Germany and Sweden. Bandcamp and the duo’s own notes describe a darker, harder synthpop turn than First Contact (2019) and Music Since Tomorrow.
The ten tracks run from the instrumental Prelude through Slow Armageddon, Before the Silence Comes and Heart Aches, then A Million Ways to Die, Kill the Machine and Dark Heaven, closing on DETOX, Fear is the Hunter and Forever Chemicals. Josefsson recorded, produced, mixed and mastered the album at Kiss the Needle in Stockholm.
An official lyric video for DETOX is on the Unify Separate YouTube channel. Side-Line has a long interview with Josefsson about the album’s direction, and Electricity Club has already reviewed the set.
