Euphoria with a crack running through it. Doncaster duo Peak Flow are back with Never Coming Down, a new single and video out on 30 October 2026 on Bandcamp and the streaming platforms.
Written by James Rollings and Jools Rollings, the song is about the rush of a new relationship, caught somewhere between being swept off your feet and feeling exposed. The band push their hooks through distortion and heavy fuzz, so the high never quite feels safe.
The video was shot among the headstones of a graveyard, which suits a chorus that keeps promising never to come back to earth. It follows the remix of “Don’t Die in Your Sleep,” the duo’s song about the sudden death of a close friend.
Peak Flow formed in April 2023, with Jools on vocals and lyrics and James on instruments. They place their sound between synth, industrial and post-punk, and name 1980s synth bands, 1990s industrial acts, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Joy Division among their influences.
