Split Vision released Cold War on 2 October 2026 via Town And Towers Records. It is the second single from the upcoming album BetaCity, following Out of Nowhere (10 September 2026).
The new track is darker, built on sequenced synthesizers, with lyrics that revisit Cold War-era paranoia, isolation and secrecy — written by label manager Stig Wintendorff in the 1980s, including the chorus image “Dancing in the shadows of the Cold War night.” Cover artwork leans on Cold War-era imagery. BetaCity is due 6 November 2026 on streaming, CD and vinyl; the Swedish duo of Dan Hansson and Henric Palmqvist reformed in 2019, moving from the early Depeche Mode lean of Echoes of a New Spell (2025) toward early Alphaville.
